Nice to meet you. I’m Trey.

Creating custom caskets was a calling I had to honor the lives of those lost for grieving families. I found that through honoring the personalities and interests of the soul, the family found more peace and even a little joy during their process of grief.

I speak to each family directly and ask questions to get very specific details so a team at SoulShine Industries can create a custom casket or Urn esspecially unique to honor each loved one.

I started SoulShine Industries to create these caskets for people because I believe that we all die, but it is how we live on in the hearts of those that we love, that matters most. What is our legacy?

In creating custom caskets, I would hear of mass tragedies, illnesses, and unexpected disasters, and I wanted to donate the custom caskets to help their families deal with the unimaginable loss. Many of these deaths were of children, which impacted my heart and mission even more.

For years, I donated out of my own business and personal pocket, with the mission of eventually making a charity and doing this work on a larger scale.

Now, I have stepped away from SoulShine Industries, as my son is ready to take over the business, and I can focus on my heart’s mission of helping others on a larger scale.

MY “WHY”

It’s not about just painting a casket— it’s about representing that loved one’s life,”

“This one hit me pretty hard because we think we’re safe — especially with someone bringing us packages. I don’t know how to comprehend what the family was going through, and it was really emotional for me.

Some Words From The Families

  • Jacob and I, as well as Athena’s entire family, would like to thank Trey with SoulShine Industries. You helped us capture our Viking Princess in a way we didn’t think possible. Trey and his wife are truly friends for life. You guys are very talented, kind, amazing humans Athena looked very comfortable in her bed.

  • Everyone who knew Chord knew how much he loved trains. Seeing him in the train that Trey and his team created for him brought so much comfort to our family during the hardest time of our lives. Knowing he was laid to rest in the most beautiful train, one that reflected everything he loved, gave us peace in a moment we never thought we’d find any.

  • I sent Trey a design and that simple request for purple, and then I waited. What he created was far beyond anything I could have imagined. When I saw the finished casket, I was overwhelmed. It wasn’t just a casket—it was a tribute, a work of love, a resting place worthy of my son’s beautiful spirit. In the darkest season of my life, that casket became a glimmer of light—a reminder that even in tragedy, there are still people who care deeply, who show up with compassion, and who use their gifts to bring comfort when comfort feels impossible. For a brief moment, my heart felt something other than pain. It felt gratitude. It felt peace. I looked at that casket and thought, Cody would have loved this.
